ICA has the world’s first Certified Master Business Coach on board!
The Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) is the first international professional association dedicated
exclusively to the business coaching industry. Since business coaching is a self-regulated industry, the WABC is committed to setting the highest international standards of ethics, integrity and professional responsibility for its members. WABC does this by engaging in a number of self-regulatory activities to build and maintain public trust. One of the initiatives is developing an advanced certification program.
The WABC Certified Master Business Coach (CMBC) designation gives experienced business coaches credit for experiential
learning gained from past work and training. Under auspices of the Middlesex University in the United Kingdom and it’s
Professional Development Foundation (PDF) a vigorous certification program has been developed. ICA trainer Ton de
Graaf has served on the http://www.wabccoaches.com/about/advisory_groups.htm#2005Certification
International Certification Program Expert Panel and went through the entire process during the pilot stage. He assembled
a portfolio which was assessed by three independent assessors from the Middlesex University and the PDF. After their approval his portfolio was presented to the assessment board which has the final responsibility in awarding the amount of credit points. Ton received the maximum score of 180 credits which makes him the world’s first Certified Master Business Coach. And of course..Ton is proud to be a trainer at ICA.
